RETAIL
OVERVIEW
The following terms and conditions apply when you order products from this website's online store or when you use this website.
Please carefully read these terms before you place an order. By ordering from us or using this website, you will agree to be bound to these terms and conditions.
Farine Kitchen is a family run start-up bakery owned by two sisters. The company is registered to 19 Chepstow Rise, Croydon, CR0 5LX, United Kingdom.
PAYMENT
Payments can be made using all majors debit and credit cards, as well as Apple Pay.
PRODUCTS
All of our products are freshly made to order and dispatched within 24 hours. They are dispatched straight from our commercial kitchen space to our customers. We do not pre-bake any of our products.
We reserve the right to use photographs of orders we prepare on our website, Instagram account and Facebook account.
Important allergen advice:
Allergy information is available on the individual product pages and on our FAQ page on our website. We cannot guarantee the complete absence of any allergens in our products since we bake in a shared commercial kitchen in which allergens are present.
Please note, we bake our products in a shared commercial kitchen, which is also used by other businesses. Whilst we implement food hygiene practices in order to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens in our products due to the environment in which they are prepared.
SERVICE AND PRICES
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue our product offering without notice at any time.
We shall not be liable to any customer or to third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance.
DELIVERY
All orders are dispatched on the same day they are baked.
Customers will receive a tracking number once their order is shipped. Once the order leaves our premises, Farine Kitchen will no longer be liable and all responsibility is transferred to the courier service. The courier company and Farine Kitchen are two separate business entities, therefore Farine Kitchen will not be responsible for anything regarding the courier company. Our deliveries are fulfilled by Royal Mail.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
We do not accept any returns due to the perishable nature of our products. If the customer receives the incorrect product or there is a problem with the product, we will offer to either issue the customer with credit or replace the order. Since we are a very small start-up business, we will not offer to refund the customer except for in exceptional circumstances. If the customer is not satisfied with the quality of their order, they must notify us on the day of delivery in order for us to issue them with credit or arrange a replacement.
Order queries should be sent to hello@farinekitchen.com. We cannot respond to complaints through our social media accounts. All replacement orders will be sent out in the following week's dispatch.
Cancellation of online orders is not possible.
EVENTS
BOOKING
The Client must sign the contract to indicate an understanding and acceptance of the terms and conditions. This also serves as a written confirmation of the booking by the Client.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost will be required in order to reserve the date of the Event.
PAYMENT
We require a non-refundable deposit of 50% to cover upfront costs as a small business.
The remaining 50% of the balance will be due 5 working days before the event.
Late payment will be subject to an administration fee.
CHANGES TO ORDER
We will make every effort to accommodate changes to your order in advance of your event, however this may incur additional costs.
If you need to reduce your order, please do so with 10 working days notice in order to receive an updated quote. If this notice is not provided, we will be unable to provide a reduced cost.
CANCELLATION
The 50% deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
We require 10 working days notice of cancellation in order to refund the remaining 50% balance. If this notice is not provided, the total balance becomes non-refundable.
ALLERGY INFORMATION
Whilst we follow food safety practices to avoid cross contamination, we are not able to guarantee the absence of allergens from our kitchen space.
Allergen information for all of our products can be found on our website.
Our products will be served with cards detailing the product name and allergy information. Other than this, we do not accept responsibility for communicating allergen information to guests of the Event.
PARKING & DELIVERY
Parking information must be provided in advance. If there is no parking facility available, please make suitable arrangements for delivery and cover any parking payments incurred.
PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL
Farine Kitchen Ltd reserves the right to take pictures or videos of the event to use for promotional purposes including our website and social media.
FORCE MAJEURE
We accept no liability for any delay or failure to provide the services as a result of any act or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This applies to any major event that is unforeseeable and unavoidable, including but not limited to fire, flood, sabotage, accident or lockout.
